Civil War

The prize for the most unexpected sync this year easily goes to the new Alex Garland movie ‘Civil War’ for A24, which makes an unusual and striking use of our orchestral arrangement of Silent Night. The bleak, dystopian movie, starring Kirsten Dunst, is the last place you’d expect to hear a lavish arrangement of Silent Night, but somehow it works! We produced the arrangement as part of ‘Hollywood Christmas’ for KPM, recorded in Smecky Studios with the City of Prague Philharmonic, conducted by Pete Harrison. It’s still being shown in cinemas across the UK, so if you’re quick, you might be able to see it on the big screen!
